X Congresso de Medicina Felina: Geriatria e cuidados paliativos no paciente felino
Dr. Lynn Hendrix is a veterinarian, author, and internationally respected leader in veterinary palliative care, animal hospice, and in-home euthanasia. A UC Davis DVM graduate with a background in psychology and certification in hospice and palliative care (CHPV), she founded Beloved Pet Mobile Vet in 2011 and consults for Kindred.vet, The Palliative Vet, and VIN, supporting and educating veterinarians worldwide.
She is the editor and primary author of Animal Hospice and Palliative Medicine for the House Call Veterinarian (Elsevier), a cornerstone text for clinicians practicing outside the hospital setting. A sought-after speaker and former IAAHPC board member, Dr. Hendrix has spent more than two decades helping normalize, professionalize, and elevate palliative care as a legitimate and vital domain of veterinary medicine—affirming that end-of-life care is not a failure of medicine, but an expression of its highest values.
